Dr. Raymond A. Saumure has four decades of experiences conserving turtles and tortoises in the US and Canada. He was served on the Steering Committee of the IUCN Tortoise & Freshwater Turtle Specialist Group, Board of Directors of the Turtle Survival Alliance, Desert Tortoise Council, and Board of Directors of Herpetological Conservation & Biology.
